We won't forget anyone who doesn't.
We forget anyone who wants it.
Every player who has ever played a chess game here or in the predecessor project KDTLS has left a trace on our website.
With every new registration for a tournament, with every finished game the track has become longer.
For an orderly organization of the current tournaments and their presentation on the website, you need the names of the players and their email address. It's nice if the players also let their place of residence be mentioned. The players receive a rating number from the EmailChessPoint, which is changed after each finished game.
The names and scores appear in the tournament tables. This means that names and tournaments are assigned to each other. Who is involved in running tournaments, stands in the frequently called sides of the running tournaments.
Who is no longer involved in running tournaments is still listed in the pages of the finished tournaments and on the page of the active players.
The email addresses of the players are not readable for site visitors. However, they are a necessary part of the ongoing tournament operation and therefore decentralized in the web server content. The player gets the availability of the current newsletters.
Who no longer plays in a running tournament and no longer wants to receive any information, in particular no more newsletters, informs the project manager. The project manager will delete the email address of the player. There is then no more establishment of contact on the part of the EmailChessPoint. The name of the player no longer appears on the page of the active players, but still on the pages of the finished tournaments as well as on the page of all players.
Players whose email address is deleted can re-register for tournaments with their name and email address at any time. You will be back in the tournament immediately.
Players who are no longer involved in running tournaments and want to cancel any contact with the EmailChessPoint can inform the project manager. After 48 hours he will change the name of the player in "Player X" and delete all other data concerning the player. X stands for a consecutive number of players who have logged out.
Such players are forgotten and will be treated as never before in case of a new registration, unless the project manager knows better (see § 3 of the game and tournament rules).
