The EmailChessPoint invites to the cup tournament 2022

Dear correspondence chess friends and all who can become correspondence chess friends,

The EmailChessPoint invites you hereby to enter the cup tournament 2021 (playing time from 20.09.2021 - 5 rounds). In contrast to the last tournaments, the tournament will be played in one round. This will ensure that the cup character comes to the fore again and that the rounds can be completed more quickly. Along with this, it is no longer necessary for each round to last 1 year. Each new round starts when the previous round is completed. This will ensure that the cup character comes to the fore again and that the rounds can be completed more quickly. Along with this, it is no longer necessary for each round to last 1 year. Everybody who can send and receive emails and who enjoys chess is allowed to play. Excluded are players who have resigned from a game in the period 01.09.2021 to 31.08.2022 tacitly or from several games without permission of the tournament director.

The rules of the EmailChessPoint apply, to be found on http://www.emailchesspoint.de/regel.php. Deviating is valid that all games, which are still running after 1 year round time, will be finished and adjudicated.(*)

The tournament will be played in a mixed trio and knockout system if the number of participants so requires.(**)

In each group of two or three, the player who scores the most points is placed in the next round. Between players with the same number of points the lot decides.

The registration is done by web form http://www.emailchesspoint.de/form.php or by email to Josef Schmitz Jupp@emailchesspoint.de with the indication of real name and email address. The last possible registration date is 10.09.2022. Registrations may be cancelled until 10.09.2022.

The winner gets a trophy.
